Community Outreach

An important part of the fabric of MATRIX is giving our time, talents, energy, and resources to worthwhile causes in our communities and society.

MATRIX supports community-based programs and organizations that address educational, cultural, and social issues affecting the quality of life where we work and live.   Our commitment is aligned with the same spirit that drives our dedication to helping others.

Our employees are a key element in our outreach.  Our heritage of service is encouraged throughout our company as it enhances our employees' morale and strengthens their skills, as well as serves vital needs in our communities.

Our philanthropic endeavors span a range of important causes and issues.

Melanie Johnson, MATRIX Resource ManagerMATRIX Helps Paint the Town for Atlanta Community ToolBank.

The MATRIX Atlanta office traded in their khakis and high-heels to give back to the community. The team headed down to assist the Atlanta Community ToolBank in helping revamp Miss Idela's home. "Our group worked really hard, but had a lot of fun," says Brent Anderson, who coordinated the event. "We completely ran out of primer and paint, so I think we met the ToolBank's expectations of us."

MATRIX "Handy Workers" Help out Neighborhood

As part of AutoTrader's "Community Relations Week", MATRIX Associate Phyllis Gray led a team of MATRIX managers to do some "handy work" around the local neighborhoods. "It is such a rewarding experience to take time from our busy schedules to give back to our community," said Phyllis. "Take some time today to give back to your local neighborhoods. You'll be glad you did, and so will those you helped."

Kudos to all the 2007 MATRIX Atlanta runners and walkers who got up very early Saturday morning to participate in the Komen® Race for the Cure in Midtown Atlanta. Komen Race for the Cure is the most successful fundraising and education event for breast cancer ever created. We all had a terrific time and were part of a crowd of 15,000 who participated in this event. Whether we came alone or with friends and family -- our employees all joined us in making this event a tremendous success.
