New Boys & Girls Club Unveiled
Guests at the annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County gala benefit at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, enjoyed fine food, a silent auction, entertainment - and one great big surprise as MATRIX Partner and foundation president Bill Gower announced plans for a brand new Fernandina Beach club. As Gower concluded the welcome address at the start of the dinner, he told the crowd, "There's one more announcement, and it's a doozy. We are going to build a downtown Fernandina Beach club!" Holiday Coat Drive in Texas
MATRIX Ft. Worth Account Executive John Gruebmeyer coordinated the efforts of the MATRIX Dallas clothing drive in December 2010; collecting and donating 23 childrens, 15 womens, and 13 mens coats, jackets, and hooded sweatshirts to Samaritan House in Fort Worth (https://www.samaritanhouse.org/) just in time for the holidays. With the cold temperatures this year in December, we are sure the efforts were warmly appreciated. |

Manning the Phones for the Star 94 Cares for Kids Radiothon
Twelve MATRIX Atlanta employees volunteered Thursday, Friday and Saturday to man the phones during the annual Radiothon benefiting Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta, whcih this year raised more than $560,000. Without their dedication and excellent phone skills, the organizers would have not been able to put on such a wonderful event.

"Eat a Little, Give a Little" Clothing Drive
As one of the many community service activities MATRIX employees have planned for upcoming months and through next year, they arranged for a clothing drive to coincide with their "Eat a little, Give a little" theme. In conjunction with a chili cookoff held in October, employees were encouraged to give of themselves and bring in their gently worn clothing to be donated to charity. We received piles and piles and bags and bags of clothes for men, women and children of all ages. The clothes were donated to an organization called All About Developmental Disabilities. |

MATRIX Helps Paint the Town for Atlanta Community ToolBank
The MATRIX Atlanta office traded in their khakis and high-heels to give back to the community. The team headed down to assist the Atlanta Community ToolBank in helping revamp Miss Idela's home. "Our group worked really hard, but had a lot of fun," says Brent Anderson, who coordinated the event. "We completely ran out of primer and paint, so I think we met the ToolBank's expectations of us." |

MATRIX and Habitat for Humanity
In April 2008, 40 people from the MATRIX Atlanta Staffing Division took on two shifts at a Habitat for Humanity house in downtown Atlanta to help get a home back on schedule. The work involved outside painting, carpentry and landscaping. The day was filled with a combination of solid teamwork and a strong sense of accomplishment in giving back to our Atlanta community. |

MATRIX Helps Race for the Cure
Kudos to all the 2007 MATRIX Atlanta runners and walkers who got up very early Saturday morning to participate in the Komen® Race for the Cure in Midtown Atlanta. Komen Race for the Cure is the most successful fundraising and education event for breast cancer ever created. We all had a terrific time and were part of a crowd of 15,000 who participated in this event. Whether we came alone or with friends and family -- our employees all joined us in making this event a tremendous success. |

Packing Backpacks For Kids
In an effort to provide assistance to local families in need, the MATRIX RTP office traveled to Eastway Elementary School on May 3rd where we packed backpacks with food given by the local foodbank for approximately 70 students and delivered them to classrooms. |
