IT Staffing and Services Leader Realigns its Top Sales Management

ATLANTA (October, 13 2009) – BusinessWeek recently reported on discussions with Scot Melland, CEO of Dice Holdings, regarding the current job market. Melland notes that things with the job market are less bad, but by no means good yet. “Overall things are better,” he said. “Confidence is there again, and there are opportunities out there.”

To capitalize on these opportunities for 2010, Atlanta-based MATRIX Resources is announcing several key leadership appointments to better position its sales team and company for future success and growth.

MATRIX announced the promotion of Dallas-based Jon Davis to Vice President – Western Region. Jon will continue to manage the Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, Phoenix, San Francisco, and Seattle offices.

It also announced the promotion of Jim Murphy to Vice President – Eastern Region. In Jim’s new position, he will manage the Atlanta, RTP, Charleston, Chicago and Birmingham offices. Jim will be relocating to Atlanta in the very near future and will be welcomed back to Atlanta after 10+ years as Director of MATRIX RTP.

These leaders will be direct reports to Gary Wood, who will now serve as Executive Vice President of MATRIX.
