Jessica Eisenberg
Account Executive
Jessica has been in the IT field since 1992. She started with a small company outside of Montgomery, AL which ended up going public. She didn’t really enjoy being a part of the public sector so she started looking for another privately-held company. She interviewed at MATRIX in 2000, immediately fell in love with the company, and has been here ever since. Jessica was recruited specifically for the Birmingham office and was their third employee.
What really drew Jessica to MATRIX were the founding partners; their goals and what they wanted for the company in the long-run. They were not actually part of Jessica’s interview process; however, she wanted to make sure, even though they weren’t there day to day, that they were still passionate about the business. “The thing that continues to resonate with me to this day is that, no matter what, MATRIX repeatedly does the right thing.”
Jessica has been part of a job share team since 2007. “MATRIX has been so understanding as far as me having the job share position; that’s been a real big plus. It’s very innovative and allows us to continue to move the branch forward with a little more flexibility for me for where I am in my life right now.” She enjoys all the support she gets and appreciates all of the MATRIX staff. “There are a lot of people that help me accomplish my goals.”
One particular situation that has been very rewarding and memorable for Jessica was the opportunity to bring a new deal with a new client to the table. It was not a traditional deal for MATRIX by any means and there was some concern that, what with all of the hours and people it would take to accomplish it, they wouldn’t be able to do it. However, they listened to her proposal and worked together. They created a plan and the sales director allowed them to implement it; it has been a very good deal for MATRIX so far. Jessica likes to think of this specific situation as “out of the box thinking”.
In her spare time, she enjoys horseback riding, reading, playing with her children, snow skiing, and for the most part, just being outdoors. “I am definitely a sunshine person and I live in Alabama for a reason.” She jokes, “My hat’s off to the people in the Seattle office!”
