MATRIX Team Lead and Recruiter, Liz Flores, chose MATRIX as her work home three years ago. It was not a hard decision to make; Liz knew she would work well with her MATRIX teammates as she had worked with many of them at a previous company.  She knew MATRIX was voted one of the Top 10 Places to Work in Dallas for years.  She knew MATRIX had a great work-life balance and cared about family and she knew MATRIX was a stand-up company.  “I really like the leadership and the way MATRIX does business.  I really enjoy working at a place where they do things morally, where they do it right and where they do it fairly.  MATRIX is a very ethical company.”

In an industry fraught with turnover, Liz feels MATRIX is a place people want to work and to stay. “There is room for growth at MATRIX, they promote from within and really stand behind that.  MATRIX puts in a lot of effort to hire the right kind of people so we don’t have a revolving door and we all work really well together.  They also provide our recruiting team with the necessary tools we need to be successful.  People stay for years and years which is unheard of in this industry and says a lot about MATRIX.”

Liz enjoys being a hand's on Team Lead at MATRIX.  “I’ve always enjoyed recruiting; the interaction with the candidates and the satisfaction you feel after placing someone, who previously had been unemployed or who was unhappy in their current role, into a new position brings me great joy.  That’s what I like most about my job.”

In her time outside of the office, Liz enjoys spending time with her two young sons, family, and friends. In addition she enjoys going to music concerts and is a movie buff.
