Matt Gabaldon will never be accused of resting on his laurels. This dynamic individual lives for the challenges and thrills he finds as a recruiter here at MATRIX. Whether at his desk or hiking Mt. Rainier, he finds excitement in finding and connecting the absolute best candidate to their ideal career opportunity.
Matt began his career at MATRIX in 2005, quickly being promoted through the ranks, to the recruiting position he holds today. “I like the hunt of recruiting, and success drives me as well. You have something good, your blood starts pumping and you get into it. I enjoy placing candidates and the fast-paced environment. I’ve always enjoyed the kind of environment where you multitask.”
One of the keys to Matt’s success has been the overall culture and people of MATRIX. “If you put forth any kind of effort and show that you have a drive to succeed, then you get that in return as well. I like that that kind of attitude is embraced here. Here, when people see that effort they are willing to help you succeed. There are a lot of great cheerleaders here.”

When Matt is not striving for excellence in the office, you can find him in the great outdoors where he enjoys a multitude of invigorating activities like hiking, camping, fishing, jogging, playing tennis and golfing, and enjoying time with his Boxer dogs.
